Tim Donald
Does anybody know of any plans or kits (not foam) that are designed for an 80mm EDF? I am looking for something that will take the FMS 80mm unit from a Bae Hawk. There seem to be some for both 70mm and 90mm but I can't find anything for 80mm. Alan Hilton
Have a look at the jetworks website ,they have downloadable plans for edf jets .The plans are for smaller edf units but they can be printed at different sizes to suit your fan . There are files for 3D printed parts as well
Eric Robson
I think Jetworks plans are for foam builds. could be wrong.

kevin b
I think it is a matter of finding edf plans and seeing if your unit can be made to fit. With the power available from modern edf units it might be worth looking at some of the old ic ducted fan plans. Particularly bearing in mind how inefficient ic ducted fan drives were.
Tim Donald
Thanks all. I will do some more research or failing that I will have a go at designing something myself.
Robin Colbourne
Have a look on Outerzone, select 'Advanced Search' and put 'Ducted fan in the description search. Outerzone - Search for ducted fan designs
