Peter Miller
Merry Christmas to all.Who remembers the excitement of the Christmas issue of Aeromodeller back in the fifties and sixties?A full colour cover, a free plan, special articles and extra pages. Many of the advertisers had holly borders round their adverts. You really felt it was a Christmas issue. IT cost 2/6d (12 1/2p)instead of just 1/6d (71/2p)
Mark Lubbock
Hi Peter, I know what you mean about the Chrismas issues-I have a few old ones myself. i will have to dig them out & get that 'Christmassy' feel again!Merry Chrismas & Happy New Year to all & thanks to Timbo, David et all for an excellent forum & magazine. Jack Bagley
Hello All, This is of coarse, the time of year when all my modelling grot disappears from the kitchen to make way for my eldest daughters' entry to make room for the family to sit for Xmas dinner. Being a widower now, I miss the "Jack, can you please put your toys away, we've got company coming, go and get the booze" , so on and so on. But I'll have my big flying toys out again soon, so a very happy Xmas to everyone at the mag, fellow bloggers on the threads and all finger flickers everywhere. All my best wishes for a great new year too! Jack
