Radial warbird slope soarer

Always blanked off, it’s far less draggy.  The yanks know this very well, just look at the US warbird lead sleds they fly at Cajon, Pt Fermin etc.

 


These models are heavy and fly in big lift, but the performance is pretty amazing - watch the mass halfpipe flying at around 45 mins in (or just watch the whole thing, it’s a classic slope video)…
