john stones 1 - Moderator
If you want a noisey bendy prop, that rarely breaks when you nose over MA is yer man, better props by far out there. Nitro ? yep it'll give you more grunt, costs more but if your pockets o.k with it the stuff works. Had both the 120fs and 20cc petrol, there ain't much in it to justify the expense. Prosynth ? For balance, I see a fair few use, it can't say I've seen any issues, broken engines are few and far between in my neck of the woods, and most are down to bad practise by owners, bit like Speky radio issues methinks. Throttling ? 4 strokes do it well as do petrols, all depends on the user, again, in my neck of the woods I see very few issues with either. Engine Doctor
Some years ago a member of our club tested various makes of props on an electric motor. The differences on static thrust was incredible. We did have more makes to choose from back then but it still well worth experimenting with what's available.
