Cader Idris area ) area, red light came on apparently. More to come on TV news probably... Rich Griff Posted August 2, 2023 Author Share Posted August 2, 2023 Just watched BBC TV Wales lunchtime news. Chinook pilot training in North Wales which explains lots of Chinooks flying about. The Arthog Chinook has "sunk into boggy ground", an interesting retreval to come me thinks.... Dismantle and air lift, by Chinook ? That would indicate metal particles detected in one of the gearboxes. Getting down on the ground ASAP is the safest course of action.
