Michael Hickman
Towards the end of last year I started compiling a database of "Radio control shops", currently 114 sites. This has then been used to populate a Flash map of the UK & Ireland. I would appreciate any feedback/additions/alterations etc.I have saved the details for the 60 shops with full post code to a CSV file that can be converted for use in Sat Nav devices, an OV2 file is also available for copying directly onto TomTom devices.Mike

Michael Hickman
Appologies ChapsIt would appear that some browsers (incl Firefox) are not able to display the pages correctly, not sure but I will investigate tomorrow. I only use IE at work and hadn't checked any others. Mike
Bruce Richards
I guesed that may be the problem I use Firefox and I seem to remember that Timbo does too.
Michael Hickman
Timbo & Bruce, could you try this link, I think I may have allowed an uppercase character to creep in, it works OK for me if all lowercase. It worked OK from the local PC & also from the server to an IE client. If it works OK, I will try to upload some revised links to the server tomorrow.Mike

Michael Hickman
DaveI've updated my local page and will upload to the server later this morning. If anyone else has any additions please could you include as many of the details (name, location, post code [latitude & longitude in 5 decimal placed digital format, would be the icing on the cake with a cherry on top ] & phone number) used as possible. Many thanksMike
001
There is also Abergavenny Model Shop. 1 Brecon Road, Abergavenny NP7 5UK Phone 01873 852566That should fill a big blank space on the map! In Aberystwyth there were two shops that sold modelling items. (Not specialised model shops.) I visited both of them about 3 years ago, one did not have much in stock) I do not know the names. Perhaps someone from the area might be able to inform you what the situation is now.
Michael Hickman
Hi Richard Many thanks for the new details, I did find a minor typo on the post code (NP7 5UH), I wouldn't have found it but when I tried a post code search it failed. If you like I could make all the dots in Wales bigger (sample below)?Mike
