If you are unsure if the expo should be plus or minus just set it to a really high figure such as 100%. Then, when you move the stick it's very easy to tell if you have it the correct way or not. But don't forget to set it back to 30% or whatever you want once you have determined the correct direction! This is a problem that sometimes occurs when I am setting up model for a beginner on a set that I'm not familiar with, I always check it as described above.

Posted by Simon Chaddock on 01/11/2016 09:41:08: I see at last that HK have put a note on their front page apologising for problems with the "Major site refresh" admitting that not everything has gone smoothly. Hmmmm! Better late than never! Actually Simon they posted about the changes on 27th October but it's under the News heading rather than on the front page so some may have missed it. -

Posted by PatMc on 29/10/2016 16:35:17: Graeme & Andy, the the only way to compare any HK prices historicaly [including P&P] is by using US$, then & now. OK, postage for my last UK order was $6.88, now $8.09... Andy Edited By Andy Palmer on 29/10/2016 16:49:39 -

Posted by graeme jones on 29/10/2016 15:52:25: Postage (shipping) is up too. £4.99 2 weeks ago, £6.29 now. Have Parcelforce rates increased or is it HK? Graeme Mine is showing £6.59 postage for one lipo, I think it was £5.59 last time I ordered but I'm not certain. Andy -

Posted by Geoff Sleath on 29/10/2016 11:00:27: I've just tried to look for 2200 mAh 3S LiPos and it's just impossible. I used the so-called LiPo finder and set it for 3S and less than 4000mAH. Most is shown as out of stock and those that are, when you open the file to find the price it shows as in the USA! There seem to be no way of limiting the search to the UK (or Euro) warehouse. It was only an experiment and it failed! Geoff No Geoff, it's the stock part that is wrong at the moment. Click on whatever you want (even though it says out, ignore the fact that it says America or wherever, Buy Now, and then you can select the UK warehouse (if it's in stock which most are). Hope that helps. Andy -

At the moment most things seem to show incorrectly as no stock but if you add something to your cart it will list the warehouses that have the item. Most things I have searched on seem to be in stock in UK and Europe, and the way of showing postal charges is much better than previously. It's obviously going to take a little time to sort out all the bugs but they are getting there. I have always had good service from HobbyKing, both with purchases and returns/queries and they won't be losing my business. Judging by some of the previous negative comments I think some people were not using the site correctly so hopefully the revamped site will be easier for people. -
Very sad

I think the idea is that they contain the flames, but it's not possible to contain the smoke so the holes that take the cables are a problem. If you totally seal the box you risk an explosion. Thant's my opinion/theory anyway but I'm no expert. I just figure it must be safer than a lipo bag.

I've also just bought one and am doing some mods to use it for charging. Look at this video, there is an ammo box with the seal removed at around 5mins 30sec: **LINK** Edited By Andy Palmer on 06/09/2016 21:38:08

Hobby King postage costs
Andy Palmer replied to Phil Francis's topic in R/C Retailers / Distributors / Manufacturers
I think that must have been the International warehouse not the UK one. It's fairly easy to get confused by the site. I've just looked and it's out of stock in the UK. -
Multiplex. Never had any problems, certainly in my experience none of the problems Denis stated are a problem. When I first switched to 2.4 the telemetry showed my rx battery duff before it had caused a problem, so I can confirm what Frank says. At my club if there is anyone having a problem with a model needing to re-bind etc there is only ever one manufacturer... I wouldn't touch it myself.

Posted by Matt Jones on 02/02/2016 06:25:19: Well what can I say? Had a thumb through last night and it went straight for recycling without stopping to read any articles. What utter rubbish. Quite why we need so many / such large articles on heavy lift comps and free flight is beyond me, seemed like page filling to me. I'd still happy pay a reduced sub and not have the magazine. So you didn't read any of the articles but it's utter rubbish. OK... -

Not a lot of help to you but I've used them before and had no problems at all, the order arrive promptly and all correct. I didn't have any problems with the website, it's probably worth giving them a call, I understand they all speak English. Andy
