  1. No David, it belongs to Derek Latimer, a member at our club (dmfc.org.uk). He's one of several great scratch-builders in our club. Here's another of Derek's wonderful builds.
  2. The obvious place to put editing/deletion tools would be in "Image Tools" - bottom-right of enlarged image, but the only option is to make the photo your profile image.
  3. Sorry to bother you again, but how can I delete some of my old photos? Can't see any way to do it.
  4. Thanks Chris - I see what's happening. Sometimes it's hard to get your head around a new format. (Though as someone who spent a career designing software including user interfaces for large companies I have to say the new site is not quite as intuitive as it might be. Nevertheless I am sure it will get there - it's very early days yet.) I realise now that I've been trying to view my photos via the forum settings, so the ones shown are just the ones that I've added into forum threads from the (old) albums. I did go onto my Profile but couldn't see how to access my photos from there, which you have now explained. Thanks for that - sorry for taking up so much of your time, but very much appreciated.
  5. We will have to agree to disagree. I am not disputing that it is the law, and obviously I will comply. If anyone were to take a UK registered model abroad (within EU) without displaying the prefix, obviously they would be in breach of EASA law and liable to prosecution. However in my view that does not make it any more reasonable to have to display the GBR-OP- prefix on models flown only in the UK (or for that matter having to display the national prefix on any model flown withing the boundaries of the country of registration). As I say, I know it is the law and will comply, but in a (relatively) free country I still have the right to think it's stupid.
  6. I am not seeing anything like 9 pages or 200 snaps Chris but I have noticed an anomaly here. When I change from "Last 365 Days" to "Any Time" the heading changes (see screen-snip 1 attached) but the number of photos displayed does not change (ie no more are added). If I then go to the bottom of the display and click on load more activity it says "No more activity to display" and when I scroll back to the top of the page the heading has automatically reverted to "Last 365 Days" Screen snips here ...
  7. From AG - "Except the ID a European-wide format so the country of origin (IE GBR) IS NOT superfluous!" Sorry Alan but I cannot agree - as far as needing to display it on models it IS superfluous if you never fly your models outside UK, so in my opinion, for flying in the UK it should not be necessary to display the prefix on models.
  8. Sorry if this has already been raised and answered previously, but there are inevitably a lot of new postings over the past few days. I have followed the posts showing me how to access my photos, and understand that they are no longer organised into albums, but a huge number of my photos are missing. When I click on the "load more activity" link it says there are no more to load, so dozens of my album snaps seem to have disappeared into the ether! I would also like to delete some of my older snaps which are shown, but cannot see how to do this.
  9. The length of the ID is ridiculous, especially as I presume they all start with GBR-OP- so the the first 7 characters are totally superfluous. Has anyone worked out the minimum point size in Arial, Arial Narrow, or Calibri fonts to comply with the 3mm minimum character height? (There is no mention of minimum character width or of a particular font required so ..... ?)
  10. I always had my browser icon linked to take me straight to Forum Latest Posts. That link now fails and I cannot see how to access all the latest posts on the new site. That would be a great loss to me if the facility is no longer available. Is there a link to all the latest posts (in date order) that I have missed somehow?
  11. I find this is not uncommon with digital servos, especially if the transmitter is too close to the model, or indoors where the signal can bounce around a room. Suggest you try restraining the model outside if possible, and then move the transmitter several feet away from the model. If the jittering doesn't stop, you may have to replace the rudder servo.
  12. I tend to saw half the bowl off a plastic teaspoon and use that as the scoop. Works well, costs next to nowt and only takes a moment or two to make.
  13. It appears to me that this is the LogicRC catalogue, not the official Eflite one. I believe that LogicRC are now the EFlite/Spektrum main UK distributor. If so, my concern is that they only seem to be stocking the "e" series DX transmitters - ie. the ones without the twin diversity aerials, and with other important features missing compared to the full DX6/DX8 models. The Spektrum website still lists the DX6 and the DX8 as current models as well as the "e" versions of both. Frankly I would never buy a DXe, as the full version DX6 and DX8 are far superior and well worth the extra cost. If LogicRC are excluding the full DX models from availability in the UK I would be very unhappy about that.
  14. There is an series of articles in here with several different takes on making or obtaining decals.
