  1. Posted by John F on 07/08/2014 11:14:38: Not so strange to me Lee. Where I work it can take several days, if not weeks to get done what I had initially promised to get done next day as other things get in the way or I am sent elsewhere at short notice, so I understand it is easy to forget or get sidetracked. I like to see things for the innocent nature they can be until absolute proof of nefarious intent is evident. So maybe it would be a good idea not to promise that it will be done the next day ? Just a thought.
  2. Your attention to detail is impressive. Well done.
  3. Hi there all. I have managed to mount the engine and get some fuel running through it. I am however struggling to get it to run consistently.  I have had to reset needles to the factory recommended 2 turns out and prime with choke closed until petrol reaches carb . Then a further 6 flips , open choke and flip a further 4-5 to draw mixture into engine.  I then hand flip and get a 1/2 to 1 second run after 3 or 4th try. If I increase priming engine does not start at all , trying an electric starter just floods engine. Any suggestions on what I can do to get it to run.  P.S have checked there is a nice strong spark at plug end and the ignition battery is fully charged.
  4. Maybe you are being persuaded to purchase a cnc wood pack ????
  5. Hi all I have finally received the replacement cover from the states - was the better of a 6 week wait . Our postal service has a lot to answer for here as it took a week from America and then the balance to get to me.I have re-assembled everything and plan to do a test run this weekend. Just need to find a decent block of wood to mount the engine on  Will let everyone know how this pan out.

That is a pretty harsh line to take as we all make mistakes and even more so if you are a business as many other's i.e. your suppliers , delivery companies etc are extensions of your business.
  12. Thanx for reply Stephen , fair enough . We have also had endless rains in SA recently and this seriously curtailed any flying. How will you finish the model seeing that you are going for sheeting ? Fiberglass ? Or Film ?  Edited By BalsaBasher on 11/02/2011 09:42:04
  13. I agree , the mustang is quite pricey and a wot 4 would be a better choice. There is very little you cant do with it.
