  1. Sorry to hear that ... when I build my shop I thought the end was out of sight! Then low and behold, it was finished. These skilled folks, the ones with the license, do want to be paid at the completion and not to wait like you have! It is a one way street for them! Leo
  2. Francesco Actually, the way I'm doing this is the same that Rory Stoney, Stoney CNC, suggest. Install the Parallel Port from Stepcraft and then use the UC100 USB adapter connecting to the PC USB thru the UC100 to the parallel port on the Stepcraft Machine. The UC100 is compatible with MACH3 and UCCNC. The UC100 looks just like the cable used to connect the PC with the printer, however, it isn't that at all. the UC100 is http://cncdrive.com/UC100.html and the UCCNC is here: http://cncdrive.com/UCCNC.html Also, I plan to use Vectric Cut2D If you will Google Stepcraft UK it is explain much better than I did. I hope my machine I ordered from Stepcraft US, arrives next week. Leo

  4. Here is one of the best model builders site I have had the pleasure of reading. He makes and sells construction jigs for models also. So google up airfield models.com and enjoy. Leo
  5. Are you going to put the electrical wiring in thin wall conduit? Be sure to put lots and lots of receptacles, then add a couple more! Leo
  6. Steve, The shop is well built and will last you many years. You've done an excellent job! Now Enjoy it .... Leo
  7. I see you folks have the same problem with the "specialist" that we do on this side. When I retired I said no more avoiding the use of electricians, plumbers and so on by doing the work myself. So when I built my dream shop I used an architect who used my AutoCAD drawings and added his detail so I could get the County Approval. I also hired a great Contractor to build it. Then wouldn't you know I ended up after it was built, I installed some 220 V circuit's and installed a phone and a network. But I would have used an electrician if I could find one who returns phone calls for the 220 circuits. I like your shop nicely done! Hope you are able to get in soon! Oh Yes ... forgot to mention the new Hurricane Codes came in as I was kicking the approval mess in to gear and I had to incorporate those requirements in! What a mess this approval process was! Leo
  8. Steve - How did you anchor the Brick walls to the cement blocks. I may have missed seeing a tie between the two. Leo
  9. You have done it again. That is a beautiful model,Peter! I concur with others, there should be a Peter Miller Day!
  10. IMHO and without a doubt, the very best is the ARES Gamma 370 foamy! It is a great flyer and tough as nails. Batteries Last and are among the inexpensive. The plane can be upgraded from "Rudder only" to the addition of Ailerons by purchasing a new wing and stronger motor! My grand son and Grand Daughter both loved to fly it! Leo
  11. Hi Derek, Thanks for the info. I will check them out next week! Google said " Methylated Sprits" is ... a mixture of ethyl alcohol (95%) and methyl alcohol (%5). The methyl is added to keep people from drinking it. Methyl is poison !!!!! Leo
  12. Where do you get lithoplate? What does it cost? Though I am in US I would think the sources would be the same type as in UK. Thanks Leo
  13. I'm glad it's picture and not a warp! Sorry for the alarm! Leo
  14. In the pictures, there appears to be a warp in the wing. It may be the pictures but it is in each picture! Leo
  15. Peter, Wow what an accomplishment! congrads! You should be Knighted! ( or at lease get your own horse and life time of hay! ) Leo Edited By Luther Oswalt on 01/05/2014 22:00:31

  17. Posted by roger graves on 07/04/2014 16:31:06: I would have to have 2 a Stringalong RM plan of years ago great flyer (I've had 3 of them) and an own design Ruperts Dad which was a freebie in another mag some years ago, I'm currently building an updated version. 19. D for Donald - I really like the colors and the graphics. Beautiful plane ... well done! Leo
  20. When I started building models I used only Razor Blades, Single Edge, then I tried xacto blades and holders but they they kept unscrewing so back to Razor Blades. Then I discovered scalpel blades and now I'm happy! Leo
  21. Hi Victor, Man ... Sorry about the Heating system ... I use the Master Air Screw and was surprised to see both how easy it worked and how well the strips turned out! I am an retired Engineer. Have considered building mini rip saw but decided there was no real need for one. What I want, but the coins are not there for, is a CAMaster I CNC Router! Glad all worked out for you! Leo
  22. Victor ... How did things turn out? What did you decide to do? Leo
  23. Just "Google"Flair Hooligan" I did and found lots of pictures and they looked just like yours! Leo
