  1. Will take some photos in the next couple of days and post them. It will be electric powered, most of the fuselage is done except for the snakes and servo fitting. Wings are more or less complete. Have made a stand off motor mount using the original firewall and the battery is behind the firewall. May have to sort something out regarding CoG etc. I have made a mold out of blue foam for a fibreglass cowling but it needs a bit of fettling. Have recently acquired a shabby Veron RF5 which has longer wings than the original kit. (Ihave a thing about Fourniers!) I was considering turning it into a slope soarer but there are not too many slopes here in Suffolk!
  2. I have always liked the Minimax, another one on my to do list. Doubt there is long enough left to do them all. This thread is reviving my interest to carry on with the Fournier and finish it Edited By Bob Bertram on 03/11/2020 14:32:16
  3. Brilliant bit of flying and lovely model.
  4. Hi Carlos, PM me with your address, I may have a spare in my store. Bob
  5. Welcome back Matt. Had my first slope session last week at Gunton cliffs near Corton with a friend's Talon, ok not very high but great fun and I am hooked. Norfolk is not as flat as Suffolk where I live. Bob
  6. Hi Chris, I see you have created an album so when you post a reply just click on the camera image on the top line and you will get a list of your albums/ photos.
  7. Hi Chris, I have 3 little sheets of amendments so have scanned all 3 just in case anyone else has problems.   Oops, they have come out a bit big.   If anyone needs them the proper size I can email them if they pm me their email address. Cheers Bob Edited By Bob Bertram on 30/08/2020 14:12:28
  8. Hi Chris, I will sort it out a bit later this afternoon. Cheers Bob
  9. I have had a Radiolink AT9S for about 18 months and haven't got any complaints. It works fine and the 9 or 10 channel receivers can be bought for around £13. Great value.
  10. Many thanks once again for all the replies. I am almost convinced that it is a modified Veron kit after a lot of 'net searching. It doesnt appear to be the Wik wing as the structure seem to be more like the Veron wing. I have sent Colin Smith an email to see if the plan is available. Bob
  11. Thanks all, it's all useful information and giving me lots of thoughts. Robert, it is an RF5 whereas the Wik Fournier is a 4 although it could be a hybrid of the Veron 5 and Wik 4 kits. The registration is the same as the Veron one. Whoever built the model was pretty good at it and who can say wether or not he had the skills to combine both models. There again, it could be a home design. Ray and Alan, I hadn't thought about it being an enlarged version of a kit! I will have to check the fuselage dimensions against the Veron one. Regards Bob
  12. Hi Folks, I have recently acquired this RF-5 with the intention of restoring it to its former glory, adding a few scale features and electrifying it. I'm having trouble identifying it after a few internet searches and would like to get hold of a plan if possible. The wingspan is 84 inches. Anyone recognise it? Cheers Bob
  13. As the fb posting above appeared this morning I should imagine it will arrive early next week. Digital edition is up and running.
  14. In my MK1 I use an emax bl2220/07 with a 40a ESC, 3s 2200 and a 9x6 prop. I bought the bare kit about 6 years ago, it is my most flown model and out climbs those that have all the bits already fitted.
  15. Hi Paul, if you PM me with your address I will send you a copy of the article. I assume you have the plan. Cheers, Bob
  16. Very nice Peter, I reckon that there will be quite a few of those built once the plans are published. Next years mass build?
