  1. Thank you both for visiting and commenting, gents. I'm still quite busy, you know. Only I didn't drive to La Grotte with the snowy roads last week. Future forecasts are showing some spring improvements here in BE, apparently. At home, with limited tools and materials, I made some progress with the nav lights, including some chrome reflectors and appropriate green & red LEDs, to be added to the Dog wing later on. Also made a plug, a polymer female and a mould - in Raysin composite as well - for the fuselage side scoops. Only one will do as they are similar both sides. Heat shrinking thin PET is next before I can finally have a trip to my man cave again. Cheers & thanks Chris
  2. Yep , John. But - exception made for Checco's sponsors Telcel & Claro and the Honda on the rear spoiler - it really looks like the 2020 version... ... 'sand bagging', for sure. Cheers Chris
  3. ... for those who missed it, today's Alfa Romeo presentation at the Orlen HQ in Warshaw... Enjoy... Cheers Chris
  4. ... welcome back to the new season, John T... Cheers Chris
  5. Still following, Dwain. ? I must still have an Atom Compass 500 somewhere in the attic. To be honest I never really had a passion for helis but I inherited it in an early combo deal... Must find it back and sell it as a good reputation 'vintage' heli. Cheers & stay safe, young man Chris
  6. ... well, it happened before that the Champ is taking a sabbatical season... sometimes just to be sure he has enough time to enjoy his title... ? Welcome back, Pete. And, welcome back to Ade (Flyer) as well. That makes 6 of the 'veterans' to join the field. Cheers Chris
  7. Great to have you back, John. ? I just realised we now have TWO Mods in our Fantasy League... if Pete is joining in, that is. ? @ John P > if you're still looking for a new name for your team, what about "2021 ILLUSION"? ... ... ... Cheers Chris
  8. Regarding the link, John P beat me to it apparently, John S... and yes, a brand new Honda engine for this last season with the Nippon manufacturer. We are three of us in our League so far as Kevin F joined John P and me already. Where are our other competitors??? ... The team/predictions parts are still locked and might remain that way till after the pre-season testing in Bahrein? Cheers Chris
  9. Most impressive, Dirk. ... and what a patience... Cheers Chris
  10. ... now we really are getting 'closer', isn't it? 2021 cars are getting officially presented ( I really liked the Alpha Tauri one today...) but what about us, gents? Are we all ready for the 2021 battle? Some Fantasy GP activity on the 'new' forum would be great, I think... Cheers & keep safe all Chris
  11. This is indeed a great job you're doing over there, David. Following with great interest. Cheers & keep safe Chris
  12. Your 'ABS sheet' method looks perfect, Phil. ? Another milestone progress with your Sabre for sure... Well done, Chief. Cheers & keep safe Chris
  13. ... apologies, Leccyflyer, but since the forum switch I'm a bit lost down here. But yep, it is a F86 canopy. A F86D or K - aka the 'Dog' - in fact as the canopy frame outline is somehow different to the standard F86. It's my contribution to the PPSA Mass Build 2020, but I'm a bit late to finish it, for sure. ? Cheers & keep safe Chris
  14. ... ooh yess... we used to have some cartoons here in BE with little 'blue' guys called Smurfs... but I can't remember they were speaking Scottish though... ?
  15. just a pic test + text pic size is 900x600 .jpg same size Edit > seems to work so far...
  16. Glad to see you're back to your ME, Dwain. ? Keep safe Cheers Chris
  17. Your patience will be rewarded in the end, Dirk. ? Top job again. Cheers Chris
  18. Thanks for posting, Nick. ? As Dwain wrote, we'll very probably have to act a bit more like 'teenies', but then it seems he has an unfair advantage... too bad for his Xbox though... Regarding my 'perseverance', Dwain. I must admit it has been 'cooled' down a bit lately. Snowy or icy roads here aren't make it very comfi to get to La Grotte lately. But, I really want to have a finished Dog whenever I can get back to it... ? Stay careful, gents Cheers Chris
  19. Hi Dwain, Not totally ready for a brand new wig yet, but I want to be prepared... After several hours spent 'navigating' around, I started to feel just a little more 'comfortable' with the renewed site. Still struggling a lot with the logics of the site 'build up'... It has way too much unnecessary bells and whistles making it 'contra intuitive' for a lot of forumites. The fact that they really aren't 'teenage digital generation' doesn't really help of course... Apparently still not entirely mobile friendly (Win10 / Chrome laptop myself), a lot of unneeded 'blank space', quite a bit of 'own config' to handle, no 'magazine viewer' (the subscribers paid for it !), ... Only a lot of patience will finally help (I hope...), but in the meantime , I'm afraid the forum will loose quite a lot of its members (... and their subscriptions...). Keep prudent, young man Cheers Chris
