While the model is very aerobatic it is not highly stressed as the power and G forces are all quite low.

It is simple but perhaps not explained. Set the root ribs with the template. Join the wings at the correct dihedral. The 1/4" sq. servo mounting rail acts as the dihedral brace. I see that the cut out for the servo mount rails has been omitted from my plan, sorry

I remember going to Ellisdons shop in London, can't remember the address but I think it was near Basset Lowke but on the opposite side of the road. That would have been about 1953-4

My flying shot are usually much sharper. Put it down to trembling after I had just test flown it. Graham did a fantastic job flying it as it is decidedly hairy and somewhat overpowered -

Well a perfect afternoon and I could test Toot Sweet (see a couple of postings back). WOW!!! Very fast and extremely , very aerobatic. You really need your Pampers on. I am indebted to Graham Davies for flying it and throwing all over the sky for the camera -
While flying this afternoon we were visited by a Spitfire. This is not uncommon as the Duxford one comes round quite often. However whent I check the photo (almost a silhouette) I see that it has American markings.

Well here is my latest model. Toot Sweet the 2nd. It is actually Yuppy Love enlarged to 29" span and powered by a 3541 1070 motor. Wing loading is 14 o.z per square ft. NOTE there will be no plans but you can enlarge Yuppy Love from Outer Zone or if you want a bigger one Sarik have my 36" span plans available. Originally .40 FS powered. The earlier models were very aerobatic. Note. The battery goes in vertically just in front of the to wing NO LEAD NEEDED TO GET THE C RIGHT. Weight 2 lbs 14 ounces, Wing area 464 sq.inches. -

Club member Michael Morris has built my original Peggy Sue and converted it to electric . He built it from the Outer Zone plan, not an simple model to build. He loves it and his aerobatic repertoire has increased a lot since flying it -
It is not critical in any way. Just shape them the way that you prefer. Rounded tips would be more realistic but you oalsosee really sharply squared off tips

Would this lot be worth-while getting?

Having witnessed the departure of a few members and the sort of passing on of unwanted gear and not having ANY family left at all my entire estate goes to the BMFA. They can sort it out!! -

The best tool that I have used for leading edges and the Vee on the leading edge of control surfaces is the "Great Planes" sanding block. Two radii and a Vee shape. Unfortunately I can't find a supplier these days -
I don't have a drone. Been using models since the 1970s starting off with a Robot Star clockwork drive 35mm camera in a Barnstormer 72. Flew my camera plane with a Canon camera on Blue Peter in the early 1980s. Currently have a Super Scorpion with a Mobious camera.

I have been buying lipos from Amazon since Hobbyking closed down. I haven't had a problem with any of them. Prices are good. You can also read reviews for all of them at the bottom of the listing. Of course you may get the odd poor review because the reviewer made a mistake but if the majority of the reviews are good it is a pretty safe bet that the odd one is one of the goofs. I have been reviewing items now for years and am also a Vine reviewer. I have reviewed some things as pretty awful.

Many, many years ago I was sitting with a friend in a cafe in Harrowgate. We watched an Isseta bubble car park, close behind another car. No problem but then a convertible squeezed in behind that. When the Isetta occupants came back a few minutes later they looked at the problem, then they picked the bubble car up and moved it out into the road and then they took the spare wheel and ran three muddy tracks over the convertible and moved the bubble car away before joining us in the cafe. I leave you to imagine the faces of the convertible occupants a bit later.
