  1. I recently built one for 2 channel rc, my best glide is with the C/G just on the second spar, despite it being burdened with radio it flys a treat, for free flight you will defently need a d/t, it'll thermal off a lit match! I built mine from the plan rather than a kit so I was able to select light balsa for the tail, think mine is around 225 grams? 2. I like "kavan" props for vintage/ free flight models, currently "Leeds model shop " have them in stock, just bought a few. Try a 7x4, my old Mills ran well on one. APC are guaranteed finger slashers when flick starting.
  3. Gareth, try using lighter fluid, perfectly safe on and, I use it for all sorts of spot cleaning jobs around the house and car.

  5. Gary, I've just started a just junior ( 75% scale junior 60) I think my plan calls for that gap to be filled in with block balsa? I've cleared up for the day now but I'll dig out my plan and double check first thing.
  6. pouring down here...again, LMS still havnt got the battery they promised to have two weeks ago, toilet seat has just broken, the job I had lined up for tomorrow has just cancelled apart from that all's good....next question
  7. Thought about contacting the manufacturer? just a thought....
  8. This is a good thread, I too am a traditional modeller, I mainly use tissue and dope but I've got a project in mind that could really do with being covered in litespan....Any alternatives?

  13. Hi Andy, I'm new here, I will of course post a bit about myself in the relevant section. I'd like to join in the fun with this one, I don't have a competetive model but I do have a new build "Caprice" that I could use just to make up the numbers. regards Paul
