David perry 1
This might be of some interest to someone. I flew this this morning whilst most normal folk were still abed! Enjoy. David perry 1
It was a departure from Turin to Bristol this morning. The arrival was awesome but I was far to busy to record it! Basically, aiming the jet downwards at 200mph into milk with mountains at the far end. The fog was so shallow it really appeared that were simply flying into the ground like maniacs. It makes yer heart flutter I can tell you, even after doing it many many times! David
r6dan
It must have been a bit scary not being able to see much at that speed! The mountains must be the Alps?
r6dan
Also, from a pilots point of view,is flying rc comparable to the real thing?
John Privett
Interesting video David. I've been amusing myself trying to work out where you were taking off from, but other than runway 36 and the presence of some snow-capped mountains there's not many clues... Hmm, Madrid and Milan both have a runway 36 and mountains nearby. Am I close?
John Privett
OK - it took me so long to wonder, you posted the answer whilst I was pondering!
Martin Harris - Moderator
My money's on Turin but there's a hefty clue in David's previous posting!

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
It must be nice to come out of all that murk and into bright sunlight. But as you say a bit more hairy the other way round! BEB

David Ashby - Moderator
Very nice David, On murky days at the patch there's a clubmate who always cheers us up by reminding us that it's sunny just a few hundred feet above our heads
