Glenn Philbrick
What module is recommended to convery 35mhz JR 9x radio to 2.4? Preferably without having to buy an aditional Rx. Thanks

Danny Fenton
Well I put a Jeti module in mine and have really been pleased with it. But I cannot fulfil your criteria of not having to buy new Rx's, the module is 2.4 and the old Rx were 35Mhz Kind of unnavoidable.... Tim Mackey
Its an open invite to start a war mate.... I like Spektrum, some like JR, some like Fuby, some like Frysky etc etc.Pay yer money and take yer choice. Whichever you choose you will need to change all your receivers if you want the benefit of 2.4G
001
I bought a Spektrum module from Al's Hobbies about a year ago for my JR PCM 9X 11 - it fits straight in to the transmitter. It is the one with the rigid aerial support. Works very well and you do not have to remove the telescopic aerial. (Unless you want to.) Now costs about £118 with a 7 channel receiver, was on offer at £80! But as stated above any receiver used with this module will have to be 2.4.Spektrum. (Or Spektum compatible receivers.)Edited By Richard Bond on 12/03/2011 14:09:
Steve W-O
The TH9X is a full hopping system, TX module bout £16 and 8ch RX about £10 As everyone has said, you will have to buy extra RXs, as the 35 RX is not going to work with the 2.4 TX module
Ed Darter
another here for the spekky module - did just the same as Richard about a year ago as Spektrum redesigned he module so there were no wires hanging out fo the back. If I were to do it now it would be Spekky or JR... because there was no JR option back then.
