Terence Lynock
Good fodder for the BBQ I shouldnt wonder......But saying that I have bought wrecks before and carefully disected them for patterns when the plans are no longer available, had to do that to reconstruct the plans for 'Endeavour' a J class Americas Cup yacht a few years ago. The original hull was like a piece of Emmantal cheese after the bugs got at it but it served its purpose,

Tim Mackey
It certainly aint no P47 Thunderbolt!
Martin Harris - Moderator
I don't know about that, Timbo. If you close both eyes, ignore what you just saw and imagine it with eliptical wings and a beautifully rounded fuselage it could almost resemble a P47 in the pitch dark. Steve W-O
It's not even April 1 yet, but he has an even b e t t e r o n e, though it is hard to believe. Very hard to take it seriously. Maybe if I take some pieces of charcoal out of the bag in the shed, I could sell them as souvenir parts of a crashed Mosquito???????

Simon Chaddock
I have a twisted piece of thin aluminium that my Dad said he picked up off the floor of one of airship hangers at Friedrichshafen not long after it had been used to scrap the Graf Zeppelin and another slightly thicker piece that he 'collected' from a shot down He111. They are not for sale either! Eric - How can you tell its from a Mossie? I though they used a standard Air Ministry type.
