Tim Mackey
For those who didnt know, a clubmate (barnseyboy) together with NF Jones, and Andy Rigby had the honour of flying these rather cool models at the footy match last weekend. Slopetrashuk
I believe the pale blue hero (City) crashed and set on fire in the Man United goal mouth. How ironic!

Tim Mackey
Not quite in the goalmouth.... but the reds won anyway Another mate of mine was going to be the importer of them, but has now decided against.THIS may give you more info. Not cheap mind, and most likely will end up as just downloadable plans to which you supply all the materials.Edited By Tim Mackey - Administrator on 21/08/2011 00:03:
Martin Harris - Moderator
If you watch the next video on youtube it shows the model emitting a great deal of smoke after it narrowly missed the temporary podium on the half way line. I was rather surprised at the size of the model - it was quite large. I'm glad it crashed on the pitch - there could have been some very negative publicity for model flying otherwise. I think I remember reading about a tragic accident involving an RC model at a sports event in the States a while ago.Edited By Martin Harris on 21/08/2011 00:10:
Pete B
Probably the first footy match to have seen a proper 'winger' in years..........Pete
David Ashby - Moderator
It would be great if someone could overlay the chat with some technical model talk. Be great to see the footie pundits earnestly discuss Li-Po C ratings and the like Edited By David Ashby - RCME Administrator on 21/08/2011 06:47:
