kevin b
Hmm. Low wing monoplane, with tall, narrow fuselage. Definitely not a radial. Wings look quite thin too, so possibly fixed u/c. Good it be a Miles Magister, or a Moth Minor ? I believe both were used as trainers by several airforces, so lots of scope for colour schemes. Ok, I'll go for the Moth Minor as it isn't quite as popular.

Tony Nijhuis
Just can't believe all those wrong guesses.......now i have to say this model wasn't my idea but a certain Mr Ed insisted it would look good in his collection. I have to say for a simple looking aircraft, it been a real challenge to design....(simply that is)
Glenn Ryan
Aw come on Tony don't leave us hanging. How about a hint like an era or something
Baron Junker
Hawker Sea Fury perhaps?
Baron Junker
Although... It's likely a Hawker Typhoon or a Tempest... I's say more likely a Tempest but very difficult to judge from this pic. Nice challenge Tony

Andy Blackburn
Actually, I don't believe that there's anything written down that says it has to be a warbird... I wonder if it might be something like a Falk "Rivets"?

Lee Smalley
Have to be honest, very disappointed, Yet another AT6 zzzzzzzz i am sure that it will be brill Tony, it's just that there are so many out there it's been done to death, There have been some great suggestions on here oddball aircraft that are not currently flavour of the month with artf manufactures, I was hoping for something more adventurous, anyway good luck with it, I am sure it will be a great flyer
Glenn Ryan
Oooh nice. Is there any specs on it at this stage. Wingspan, motive power. It looks like a reasonable size from the pictures above.
Daithi O Buitigh
It wouldn't take very much work to convert it to a Wirraway Now that's a very rare item for a model
Lee Smalley
Really good idea but you can guarantee people whatching you fly her would say " nice Harvard you have there" grrrrr !!!!

Tony Nijhuis
Span is 68" and for this year i have put a 91-4s dirty orriable smelly thing to power it. The model will be a little overpowered but I would prefer to add engine than ballast. Not a great favourity of mine but Im sure it will be popular. I have to say the model has been one of the most trickiest to design but it went together a treat in very quick time once the design was cracked. Will have flaps fitted for the purists out there too
Glenn Ryan
I like the sounds of this more and more. Can't wait for it to come out. Maybe I need to hold off on doing the FW190 and do this instead. Decisions Decisions.
Daithi O Buitigh
Just add a bit for us leccy characters (so we can mount a biiiiig outrunenr)
Daithi O Buitigh
But as for a Wirraway - all you have to do is cut off the back of the glasshouse, stick a pair of Mk V Vickers and bulges at the front and a drum loaded Vickers Mk I at the back. It's different Oh and one actually managed to shoot down an A6M5 (the pilot must have been dozing)
