Hello fellow lepidopter.. lorpoldipter Bugger it. Moth fanciers. I'm currently wresting a Magnatilla together and the moff would  be step in the right direction along aviations glittering historical highway. Trouble is I have trouble counting beyond 2 and thinks I might fing 4 wings a bit daunting

Entered the competition a few days ago, however, some research has revealed that the Tiger Moth did attack a ship. 

"The NZPAFs first action came in 1930 when the Moth dropped an improvised bomb made out of a treacle tin on to a ship suspected of gun running. The bomb did no damage, fortuitously, as the target turned out to be a local missionary vessel."

 The above was taken from a book about the history of the New Zealand Air Force, don't you just love Google !!
