Barrie Dav 2
Are you talking about a radio controlled flying model or an Airfix type plastic non flying job Rebecca? Edited By Barrie Dav 2 on 15/12/2014 07:47:
Ross Clarkson
Lots of possibles to be honest Rebecca. Will depend greatly on so many things such as his ability, size, experience, where he flies, whether he likes traditionally built models or modern ones, what kinds of models/equipment he already owns, electric or fuel etc..... Do you know if he means a modern Typhoon like a jet or an older era Typhoon from WWII as a starting point? Does he fly at a club, are his models large scale already, does he like propellers or jets? Here are a couple of suggestions anyhow but I should imagine you will be thinking about much cheaper ideas in your mind as these are more advanced serious models. Jet type: **LINK** Older WWII type: **LINK** Hope this at least starts us working out exactly what he wants.
Martin Harris - Moderator
Could even be a Parkzone Typhoon so a little subtle interrogation may be required, Rebecca.

Rebecca Craig
Hi I am getting my mum to try and suss it out He has radio controlled electric planes and often talks about a servo?! whatever that is The typhoon slope soarer looks most like the things he has but I would say his are smaller does it come in different sizes? I would say wing span of about 1 meter He has a room where he works on the planes so I presume he builds up the planes Hope this offers a bit more insight

Dave Hopkin
Hi Rebecca, can you sneak into his work room and take a photo of the planes he already has, that way I think we could give much more constructive advice on what might be suitable, also have you got a rought idea of how much you want to spend?
