Dai Fledermaus
I don't normally buy cheap tools but I did buy a Japanese saw in Lidl yesterday with a 17tpi blade and a spare 22tpi blade. Not bad quality and at £7.99 you can't go wrong. Perfect for model making.
Don Fry
I have bought a lot of tools from Lidl over the years and have found very little cheap and nasty, just good workaday tools. Perhaps not THE best, but on a par with mainstream branded stuff, and a mile above DIY own brands. And some of the power tools have had a severe hammering over the years and they take it. And don't break the bank. I don't work for Lidl.
Allan Bowker
Donald, is that a positive or negative review?
Nigel Day
I saw that saw (!) but couldn't find it in either of the two Lidls near me.
kevin b
That's the problem with Lidl. The offers aren't in all the stores. You can check on line to see where they are though.
Nigel Day
Too late now I think Kevin, they seem to only show current deals. This was over a week ago.
bert baker
I purchased one and it seams great so far and did come with a spare blade.
Nev
I picked one up today from the Gool shop. Blade is a bit long but a lot better qualit than the Xacto style razor saw you find in model shops. Still a good half dozen left if you live anywhere near. Also if you are following the chipmonk build, they have the "stability express" adhesive that's been recommended for gluing the cowl.
