Shaunie
Scott, I'm really glad this has worked out well. Personally I would have got some photographic/video evidence in case the parents had not been so accommodating. I do hope the hard liners here were being a little tongue-in-cheek. Sometimes a youngsters self-restraint does not quite work correctly, after committing the act once it is easier to repeat. Hopefully the short sharp shock from this will put him on the straight-and-narrow. It is quite possible you may have made some good friends of your new neighbours, certainly more so than if you just called the Police. All's well that ends well. Shaunie. Bob Cotsford
Good result Scott. I'm sure as teenagers many of us knew 'someone' who had hit Dad's booze cabinet and replaced some of the contents with tap water. Youthful stupidity. Let's hope this lad was just daft and give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Chris could be right "You watch, you'll be taking the lad flying before you know it. Stranger things have happened." - it might be the way to encourage the lad away from antisocial behaviour.
Gary Manuel
Looks promising Scott. You have some new friends and their son will now treat you with respect. Maybe one day you'll even share a beer with him at your local flying club
