Frank Skilbeck
I may be wrong, but I think you can download it from here and then use the interface dongle that comes with the retail package and it should work OK.
Denis Watkins
Frank is right OG. Have your chosen TX and your bought dongle connected before startup on your laptop, then do the download as Frank suggests and Phoenix set up will do the rest. Also, do not have your Tx switched on. John F
Frank, you can download updates but still need the original installation via CD first. You realistically need a computer with a recommended minimum of 1Ghz Pentium 3, which is arcane in computer terms (2002), but will always struggle to run it so need something a little bit more recent, (2006) with a graphics card. Shared graphics on an old machine would struggle. You would not be able to copy to a USB stick as most companies would apply DRM (Digital Rights Management) to protect their products from illegal copying. Dependant upon how old your machine is would determine whether buying a USB CD drive is worth the cost (£15 - 25) or whether you need a new machine. What are the specs of your machine? rcaddict
the reason I wanted to use the laptop was to mirror screen to the big tv !!
John F
In that case you'll be absolutely fine, you just need an external CD drive. £15 - 25 and you're sorted.

John Privett
If the laptop and PC are on the same network (which if you're using them both at home, connected to your router, they almost certainly are) then you should be able to share the CD drive on the PC and access it from the laptop. If you're not sure how to do this have a look here (or many other places on the 'net.)
