Edwin Brown
I have encountered a problem where by my retract Hitec servo HS75BB will not work. Have tried a new one and still no luck. All other servos work fine. Anybody got an idea as what I should check in the transmitter. Not flown for a year and just recomissioning all my planes. As I get older I forget how to do things. Denis Watkins
The TX is the last thing to check Edwin, 1st check is the RX retract channel with any servo to hand
Martin Harris - Moderator
Is the servo in a model, Eddie? If so, did you have a separate retract battery perhaps? Another possibility is that you aren't getting travel values from the channel you're testing with...retract servos don't respond proportionally and only operate when the pulse width hits a preset value when they drive fully to the other direction. You can always bring it up to the field and we can take a look at it! Edited By Martin Harris on 03/11/2016 23:30:
Martin Harris - Moderator
Line above should read: Another possibility is that you aren't getting sufficient travel values from the channel you're testing with
John Lee
There is a servo monitoring screen in the function menu to check the Tx output.
