Tom Ryall
Posted by Donald Fry on 22/01/2017 19:29:55: Or god forbid, knock something up from a plan. Unfortunately my spare time for that was 25yrs ago or hopefully in another 25! Cheers Chris, I've been looking for a Riot as well, given it looks very similar to a Wot4. Eddy Barker
Hello Tom. Me too. Last flew around 1998. Bought a Techone Tempo 3D EPP to edge my way into it again. Flew for the first time last evening, aaaarrrrgh. Anyway. Scary flight even on low rates and loads of expo but managed to get it down in one piece. Surprised I didnt hit the deck before landing. Cant wait for the next go.
Denis Watkins
Good luck Eddy, And ditch the expo until you are back up to speed IMO
Eddy Barker
Hy Denis. Well on my fourth flight this morning I attempted a hover far too low with the inevitable result. Nice thing about epp is its easily fixed. Batteries now charged up and cg a little more forward. I was use ti pattern models and flying at stall speed is veey different.
