Steve Colman
Thanks John, A good pilot with the ability to fly for the camera really helps.
Mike T
... and it's a damn sight easier to become a good pilot with weather and facilities like that!
MattyB
The greatest achievement of the Opterra is HH convincing buyers that a 2 servo mounded EPO wing can be worth £200+...!

Steve Colman
Mike T, that is of course true. But it's not so easy when you have severe physical problems which seriously diminish your ability to even hold or move the sticks on the TX, as is the case for the pilot of the Opterra in the video Edited By Steve Colman on 05/04/2017 22:11:25 Edited By Steve Colman on 05/04/2017 22:14:05 Edited By Steve Colman on 05/04/2017 22:16:

Steve Colman
Thanks for the comment bouncebounce crunch. The young man in question is an excellent pilot by any standards and competes regularly in Spanish and European aerobatic competition flying, often finishing very high in the standings. He flies everything from UMX models up to a recently acquired turbine powered Viper Jet. Given his very obvious physical disabilities and total reliance on others for everyday activities that most of us take for granted, it is a real testament to his character that he's able to fly at all. And, to cap it all off, he's a thoroughly nice young man too.
