Jonathan M
I want to order a Gangster 63 Lite kit from Mick Reeves, but simply cannot find any web-page of his that has email, telephone or other ordering information on it. This home-made page shows the model, but has no menu-buttons pointing towards any contact page: **LINK** 192.com provides an address and phone number, but no-one ever answers the phone! Christopher Long 1
Try this link, **LINK** it loads a page with all the contact details etc.
Jonathan M
Cheers for that link. When I tried it previously it said "access denied, no permission" etc, but it works now and have ordered the kit! Jon
Martin Harris - Moderator
Mick's a fine modeller and his service/products are great, but his website has to be the worst commercial one in existence!
Jonathan M
Yes, its completely pants. Mick blames it on 'computers'.By the way, what's the wingspan of the Gangster which I've now ordered over the phone?!
Jimbo565
Jonathan The clue is in the 63" Its a great model and flies a treat.

Jimbo565
This is mine and still going well Edited By Jim Carss on 11/04/2017 10:09:
gangster
Probably the only model anyone would ever need. I am sure it would suit as first trainer right through to aerobatics for most club level flyers. The Mick Reeves Spitfire 63" is basically a Gangster 63 Those who throw their hands in the air and shudder at the thought of a Spit as first model have never flown the old non scale MR spit
Jimbo565
Passed my A test on mine.
gangster
Jim yes so did I. On one of the original 60 size Gangster 63s. Howling gale and horizontal rain. Only a model that size could hack it. Probably find if we tried it now in these over risk averse days would fail due to being irresponsible in flying in those conditions
Jonathan M
Look forward to the kit arriving in the post, then lots of fun planning the build, dreaming up a colour scheme, ordering all the other clobber, and starting a build log.Does it need a steerable nose wheel? gangster
Personally mine does not have a steerable nose wheel. Some would say you must have one others will say why? Personal choice mate.
Jimbo565
I have steering, works fine. Just a heads up Jonathan, there is no plan with this model,it comes with assembly instructions and is very easy to follow. I like the construction of the wing spar and foolproof method of aligning the ribs.
Denis Watkins
Jonathan, if you are a very competent flyer like Gangster, then fix the nose gear, Otherwise, steering is vital on a model, from novice to moderate flyer in my view .
