Normally my kids buy me designer tops etc for which I am the ungrateful recipient and my wife generally doesn't buy me a thing. This year I pleaded with them just to get me reading material so I now have 10 paperbacks and a couple of hardbacks covering wellington, Waterloo etc right up to a history of the sas entitled SAS Rogue Heroes, this book is absolutely riveting, I'm about halfway through and can't put it down. Happy birthday. fellow-8/8/xx er... Suffice to say today is my XXth birthday too - though I think I have to wait rather more than 2 more years for my free TV licence. I say "today" as I'm still across the pond on holiday, currently in central British Columbia, Canada, where I currently have 52 minutes of my birthday left! Cover price is £8.99 and worth every penny. I'm just getting to the end of Rogue Heroes and I have to agree it's a great read. They were very  brave men when you consider Hitler's decree that any captured British commandos were to be killed out of hand.
