BBC weather says a dry start with some showers in the afternoon and evening with fresh winds in the afternoon (to paraphrase). For the UK it doesn't sound too bad for the second week in September!

Sadly not the case - although on the odd occasion that the sun manages to prise apart the clouds, it does shine on the pleasant rolling countryside and isn't absorbed by all that grimness you have up North.
