I have a stripped one on an aileron and as I'm still under instruction for the A I am hardly stressing my ePioneer by chucking it all over the sky ! extra slim Posted September 27, 2017 Share Posted September 27, 2017 I got a couple a few years ago when they came out. No gear issues, but the centreing was absolutely the worst I had seen. Ron Gray Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 My New Power servos were metal geared and they still suffered from stripped teeth. On one plane I had finished one flying session with no issues and 20 minutes later I went out to fly again but saw a problem when checking the control surfaces (aileron!). Needless to say that curtailed my flying that plane for the day. The other one I found when checking another plane in the shed, once again it had flown with no issues a week or so before and had not received any knocks. I opened up both servos and found 3 or 4 teeth missing from the large, very thin gear wheel. My New Power servos are now only used on my smaller, lighter planes and I won't be buying any more.
