FilmBuff
Missing a warbird in the collection but the state of my local field rules out retracts.Parkzone Wildcat looks good. Is there a Spit or P51 in this size?Edited By FilmBuff on 01/07/2018 18:13:
Geoff S
What a strange rule. What's the objection? Does it also apply to models without an undercarriage that's hand launched and belly landed? Geoff
FilmBuff
Ah no sorry. State of the field, not rules make retracts impractical😌
Geoff S
You could always just use the retracts to take off and belly land. Or can't you use any kind of undercarriage? Geoff
FilmBuff
Copes with my Wot 4 okay. But I've had to strengthen that and put larger wheels on.
Denis Watkins
You cannot increase the wheel size with retracts FB, but you can fit low bounce wheels And touch down on the best part of the surface
Don Fry
Boeing Peashooter, Polish PZL 24. Or shoot something off a catapult, and belly land. I used to belong to a club who used Cambrian Funfighters for combat. The launch hook was used as a skid for touch and go. Not for the feint hearted. ASH.
The Parkzone Wildcat is a great little foamy, flys good looks good and turns on a sixpence with it's rudder. The P47 is another good flyer esp with two stage flaps. No need for undercarriage with either one they belly land just fine. If you go for the Wildcat which they have just brought out again.. do strenghten the flimsy plastic cowl with fibreglass or else you be buying another. Charles Galloway
If you want to build, then the Brian Taylor Kingfisher is an option.

brokenenglish
I would take the option of any plane that you can fly hand-launch.
paul devereux
I have a PZ Wildcat, I got through 3 cowls and now put up with a broken one- it is a pity they don't use less fragile plastic.
