Cuban8 Posted September 27, 2018 Share Posted September 27, 2018 Just a few lines to say how impressed I am at the Special Edition RCM&E that dropped through my letterbox yesterday. Really excellent modelling journalism throughout that addresses a number of points facing our hobby at this time, and having a fondness for scale models, the piece on the recent scale champs was particularly interesting and thought provoking. No negatives, marvelous photography, entertaining and enlightening articles and even though I remain highly critical of BoB Model Squadron as a TV programme, the article giving the background to those responsible for getting the models to fly and the technical problems that had to be overcome gets a from me. The pictures are mis-aligned on the colours - like last years Special, same again. Not only mine, Chris Barlow's copy is the same. Seems to only happen on Special Editions... Love the massive PSSA coverage, and am very thankful to all staff for their efforts with this. Yet to read the rest of it yet, but looks great.
