DIGGER
I have a DX8E and want to use the sequencer program, has anyone else tried this. What I want to do is turn the lights on when the wheels are down and off when the wheels are up, all from the same Y lead off the Aux2 port. Any help please. Denis Watkins
Digger, do you mean MIXER, to mix AUX2 ? As I think only the DX18 has a Sequencer
DIGGER
The DX8E version 1.22 has the Sequencer on it also. Chris
David P Williams
Digger - you can't sequence things on a Y lead on the same channel. You just need one of these to control the lights. I do this all the time, usually to have the lights come on when flaps are lowered (fixed undercarriage!)
MaL
How about a simple microswitch operated by an undercarriage leg when it reaches the fully up position?
DIGGER
I have been told you can use the sequencer on a Y lead. But I can't ,so I'm getting a switch and see if that will work. I have another bigger problem regarding the DX8E programming, but I will start another thread for this. Thank you all. Chris
John Lee
Chris You may want to download the manual here for the Dx9. On page 29 there are the instructions for the sequencer that are missing from the Dx8e manual.
DIGGER
John, thank you so very much for that, it's a great help. I can keep the wheels as is, and rename the doors as LED and use it to do what I want. That's the plan, watch this space. And thanks to all.
