heinkel
Hi,looking for suggestions about suitable wing servos for my Flair Baronette ,have tried hitec HS 81s but they have failed ,thanks
GrahamWh
What dimensions will fit Heinkel? Does it have to be that thin? Some may be able to make a recommendation with dimensions.
John Lee
The standard HS81 gear train is very weak, any knock will strip them. If the servos are otherwise OK you can get replacement sets for about £2 or change them for a metal gear set eg here
flight1
What faild whith your hs 81s (the gears?) they are a bit small for a 50'' baronette with glow power vibration . I would allways go for metal gears when using micro servos for alirons the hs82 mg would be good or larger servos if they fit also the the hs 125 mg could be an option
heinkel
Cheers folks ,yes they have to be about the same size ,disposed of old ones so looking for complete replacements ,thanks
Jon H
i use standard futaba 148's in my flair nieuport. I will use the same in my baronette and busa pup when the time comes.
heinkel
Hi Jon ,the 148s won't fit ,have gone down the servo in each wing route !
Dickw
Have a look at the Savox 0255MG - similar size to the HS81. I have been happy with Savox servos so far. Dick
flight1
Hi again nothing wrong with servo in each wing route , allway do it if I can. If you don't want to use the Hs 82mg then try these as same size with metal gears good reports and fantastic deal see here
Alan H
Savox 0255MG are amazing servos for their size IMHO, very powerful and strong gears
