Do not use heat. Aliphatic resin polymerises with heat and then never comes apart.

If one applies the glue to bother surfaces and allows it to dry one can then bond them with a domestic iron.

I have bonded leading edge sheet to a wing by this method which I learned from an American mag years ago

Possibly.I have never tried that but it sounds logical.
