Martin McIntosh
Good to hear from you Barrie. Wrong thread for this but I could relate many tales of woe regarding W/C`s etc so a new one would not go amiss maybe. I have sent reports to the Classic Aero people but they have not as yet been put into print. Maybe unprintable!
Andy Stephenson
Posted by Martin McIntosh on 20/05/2020 19:47:52: Andy, it is the same stuff as far as I am concerned other that leftover stuff seems to last longer in the freezer. It can be thinned with cellulose for spraying too. Martin, Where did you buy your Sadolin PV67 from. Thanks, Andy

Engine Doctor
Hi Doc . I have limited knowledge of the differences between the various epoxy resins. A few years ago I was glassing a Topflite P40 that I had built for a friend and used epoxy resin supplied by Bucks Composites . Their name was different then but cant remember what it was . I glassed the lower wing panels and closed up for the night . That night we had a bit of a frost and the temp plummeted. Next morning the panels I had glassed were only half cured and no amount of warming would re-start the curing process .I had to clean it all off and start again making sure that I had enough warmth in the workshop to get a cure before closing up for the night . Barrie . Are all epoxy resins as sensitive to temperature ? Not that I do much glassing these days but worth knowing whats the best, easiest to use resin available today .
