Steve Kingston
Has anyone used the “Orange” range of receivers with Futaba radios? How do you rate them?
FlyinBrian
I have not used Orange rx with Futaba but have used them with Spektrum DSM2 systems without issue. For Futaba FAAST I use FrSKY rx, c 23.00 or so. They work well
Brian Cooper
I also have some Orange receivers which work on Spektrum DSM2 and DSMX. They work well and have stood the test of time. If they work as well on the Futaba radios, they should give untroubled service.
Michael Barclay
No problems when used with DX6 and DX8. I have six with faultless service.
Shaun Walsh
I have never actually used them although I did buy two DSMX versions based on the input voltage rating of 3.7-9.6V. Plugged in a 2S lipo and burned them both out. Contacted Hobbyking who gave me a refund with no quibble, didn't even want them returned, Be careful what you power them with, probably fine run off a BEC or direct from a 4 cell NiMH pack. Nigel R
None with Futaba, but three with Spektrum DSMX. Been faultless. As above, I find them just right for foamies.

I can't see why not. If they are good they are good. If not why use them in anything?
AndyD
probally right, never even had a glitch, surpose its a cheap v expensive mind set type of thing.and why futaba cant do them for the same price.
J D 8
Hi Steve, I use Corona R6FS and R4SF receivers from Bangood with my Futaba T8j S-FHSS set in smaller aircraft. I stick to Futaba 2006's for larger models. You do not say which protocol your TX is. Cheers John.
