Zflyer
I have no idea if this has been tried before and I appreciate that most of us are of a certain vintage. This has its advantages. Most of us have left work, however we still have colleagues and new staff working at out former employers. Why dont we contact those associations we belonged to and see if they would put a couple of lines in their inhouse magazine asking if they would like to take up the hobby and point them in the direction of the BMFA, LMA etc.

Shaunie
I keep my models at work ( I’m self-employed, auto-electrician). I have about nine planes on the wall. It’s got us at least one new member and lots of interest. If it wasn’t for Covid I may have got another couple this year. amazing how unobservant people are, I’ve had customers come in three or four times before they say “I never noticed the planes up there”. J D 8
It used to be the same with us, the local chip shop owner had aircraft in back room you could see through the open door.
