Basil
Hi, a fellow called ZKBap built an AOP9 that appeared on the forum way back. This was an Ic base plane. He made a really good job, the threads looked fabulous, paid a lot of attention to the detail, cant praise it enough, more than I am capable of achieving. Has anybody done an electric version or has any info on the same?. I would be interested in hearing from anybody re this subject as the building of this A/C is being seriously considered, slowly at the moment as it would not be a cheap option( For me, cost is subjective according to means.). Denis Watkins
1st and foremost Bas, can you store it ok? And can you transport it. I know a chap who built one of these, and realised later that he couldn't get it to the field.

Trevor
If you did fancy something just a bit smaller the Aiglet plan on here is a well proven flyer, designed for electric. I can provide links to more detail if you’re interested. Trevor
Basil
Trevor, yes I am considering any thing at the moment.Must be very stable in the air, slow and manageable. The one you highlighted had a gearbox!!! Bas
Dwain Dibley.
I built the DB Auster at 87" that is 1/5th scale Basil, and as you say will fit in a car. Also, here is a possible electric set up from 4MAX D.D. Edited By Dwain Dibley. on 09/01/2021 17:11:
Basil
D.D., thanks for that, very useful, as it is directly compareable I would think.A trifle expensive from 4 Max. Trevor, what had you in mind?. Forgot to say that the wings are detachable as the cabin is open/glazed at the top, If anybody has any leads to pics of the inside it would be interesting.
