cymaz
3 Clubs are getting together to put on a static and small flying display at a local steam fair. The fair is one of the biggest steam events in the South West. All sections and stands are now fully booked, so it’s going to be a superb day out for all the family. Money raised will be going to 3 local charities. Edited May 24, 2023 by cymaz

Geoff S
I always enjoy the steam fair held near us. They're always interesting with lots to see. It's only a couple of miles away so we walk over. In the early 1900s my great-grandfather used to buy standing timber and used traction engines to haul the cut wood. My grandmother used to have to catch the train into Nottingham to acquire a permit for the engines to cross Trent Bridge into the city - times change 🙂 You had excellent weather this weekend so far. Let's hope it holds. How did the flying go?

cymaz
We’ve had the BMFA SIM trailer all weekend. Proved a big hit with the fair visitors and some club pilots that didn’t know it existed
