Point taken on the title. Yes they are available, but not in Cyprus, infact we don't have model shops and we don't have clubs, I think I'm the only one that flys for medical problems, and now I have a Newby that wants to learn safe flying he to has medical trouble. And he can't afford it, everything we want we have to import and pay import tax. Just hopping someone has a SAFE Rx they don't want and don't want the earth for it.

Right there I no shops that deal with RC AIRCRAFT, they are all plastic kits and RC cars, and far more expensive than if you export them yourself.  We in our group get our batteries from Belgium which we get if in stock about a week ( courier) and at a good price, kits, parts etc anywhere in the EU no import duty. We tend to stay away from UK shops as the price, P&P import duty makes them very expensive. Our nearest flying field is in Limassol, if you can call it that, it's on the salt flats and controlled by the RAF at Akrotiri. And because of high winds is limited. And it's an hour and half to get there, find strong winds turn round and come home. There are no clubs in Peyia they closed years ago. I thank you for you reply to this. We are about 5 and fly of a dirt track twice a week.  And we are plague by beautiful woman in bikinis walking by us. Very hard to concentrate. But we all have our problems.😜

Digger, yes the semi naked ladies can distract. I have to fly float planes in their company.
re receiver, I would look on the spectrum site, to get the model you want, and then on a search engine, enter the model number, and “, in Euro”, and you will get EU suppliers of that unit. I don’t use Safe stuff so don’t know what you want.

Oh I dunno. Aeromodellers have been partial to a pretty face and nice figure now and again, even staid old Aeromodeller by the looks of it...........don't worry mods, nothing I wouldn't have shown my old nan at the time.
