Jonzjob
Hi folks. Just a quick intro from me. As you can see, my name is John and I now live in NW Wilts. I used to live near Stroud and joined the SCSA, South Cotswolds Soaring Association in 1984-ish and have mainly flown the slopes around Stroud. I have lost count just how many models I have collected and built over the years, but my favourites have to be my 1/5th-ish scale Minimoa, 14 scale DFS Habicht, 1/5th scale Grunau Baby, Bird of Time, Mini Bird. And a couple of PSS, Dragon Models Magister and a Foland Gnat. On the lines of the Magister, a mate of mine has one as well, in fact when saw his I got mine. Over the weekend he managed to park it in a tall tree and when he got it down the canopy was damaged. If I may ask, has anyone any ideas as to where he can get a replacement please?

PDB
Welcome to the forum John. I'm over the eastern side of Wiltshire and last Sunday had my introduction to slope soaring in the Vale of Pewsey. Maybe I'll bump into you one day on the SCSA slopes. 👍 Edited September 26, 2023 by PDB
