Torsten Spitzner
This sad looking biplane was left in our clubhouse as a 'give away. Having nothing on the bench at the time, I took it under my wing... We aren't quite sure but we think that it is a Bucker Jungmeister from the mid 80's with a modified tail / rudder. 52 inch span and powered by an OS 55AX2 and 12x6 prop, it flies quite well. \ Not having built a bipe before, my biggest concern was calculating the correct CG. I'm glad so say that, after all the research and calculating , it was spot on. First up, the wing...... Ace
That was a lot of work Torsten on what looked like a lost cause - that said there is a wonderful therapeutic sense of accomplishment on completion. 👏 Just needs a successful maiden 🤞 Edited January 9 by Ace
