J D 8 - Moderator
Helpful good service in getting some new crank bearings for one of my Enya 90's ordered yesterday arrived today as well. For info rear bearing is metric while front is imperial.
Engine Doctor
Did you replace the cam gear bearing ?
J D 8 - Moderator
No I did not. No need, main crank bearing being replaced due to wear. I had detected a slight wobble in the shaft when holding the prop. Been in the same model over twenty years. As you know the Enya's separate front housing holds both crank bearings and can be changed with out disturbing the cam gear. Spun cam shaft with my finger, feels nice and smooth.
i12fly
Id like to give a shout out for RC Bearings.co.uk Excellent quick service last week for my electric motors and low cost/ postage. (They do IC too.)
leccyflyer
Excellent service from Motion RC EU. Ordered a couple of nosegear retract stubs and a spare retract for my Flightline P-38 on Wednesday night. Fedex just dropped it off now. Completely hassle free with regular updates, in total contrast to waiting for years for spares to become available from HK for Durafly models or totally non-existent EFlite spares from Horizon.
