Andy Freeman
Well, As I said earlier i will be happy for Alan, I just hope he carries on since Stan Yeo quit. I much prefer to buy British if I can. If Alan ever reads this though a bit discount on a venom might be nice Edited By Andy Freeman on 26/03/2009 22:32:
Matthew Lloyd
Fine by me Al. That's what I usually do
Tim Mackey
I wouldnt expect any discount I am afraid, when I was speaking to him Tuesday, he was sobbing to me about how prices have gone up by very large amounts to him, on CW tape, arcel tape, and EPP. Expect an inevitable and long overdue increase in RP soon he says.
Matthew Lloyd
Look out - it's the Moderator! Just the impetus we needed Timbo. Threaten price increases, and watch us all twitch!
Shaun Brogdon
Heres one of the Fusion sat with the Global Dominator at one of our local slope fly-ins. I think I'll cut those circles again, Its just not the same with one orange wingtip.
Tim Mackey
Oh and the EPP he uses is not British - nor is the coloured tape, or the CW tape
Matthew Lloyd
Dammit Tim - it's close enough! Don't spoil it!

Andy Freeman
Ohhhh.........He is in a grumpy mood tonight!!!!!!! All coments about discount are tongue in cheek. Prefering to buy British if possible is not though. Who cares where he scources the materials....
Tim Mackey
I know we all laugh about he talks so much, but on Tuesday my missus ( who knows him from having met him at Filey flying week ) set the kitchen timer just for laughs when I rung to order 2 new WTs. 43 minutes.... and I hardly said much more than "Hi Alan, Tim Mackey here, I would like 2 x 46" WTs, 1 orange and 1 black tape please"
Shaun Brogdon
My thoughts exactly. My two yr old gets grumpy when shes hungry. Perhaps a pre bedtime sticky bun is in order Timbo???
Tim Mackey
Not grumpy at all lads - sorry if it sounded like that
Matthew Lloyd
I'm betting his Jart wings still haven't arrived. Be patient Tim. As they say, good things come to those who wait. That's why I want my Fusion NOW PLEASE!

Shaun Brogdon
Matthew, are you already weighing up what you need to finish one? Sounds like its as good as bought...
Matthew Lloyd
Does it look like that? Really? Surely not TWO models in one month... I think Al and I better start looking for a bedsit.
Tim Mackey
Correct - no Jarty wings yet - AND I have just goosed a new 2s 1800 LiPo pack whilst testing out a microscreach alarm that I am fitting to her - left it slowly discharging to find the trigger value, and forgot all about it.... obviously the sounder is not yet loud enough, and returned to the garage to find the battery at .85V oops off topic - I'll have the moderators on me soon. Andy Freeman
Right off to peeps for me now. Cant find a matching pair of servos anywhere in the garage of Freeman towers. Looks like a trip to an emporium of toys on Tyneside for me tommorow. Might treat myself to a new RX too
Matthew Lloyd
Yes Tim - methinks the Missus won't tolerate much more of this madness!

Alex Leigh
Do kids have shoes? Do they appear hungry? Is the house falling down? If the answer to all those questions is no, then the answer to discretionary spend is yes When I had 11 bike frames hanging up, there was a noticable decrease in house harmony. But we're way past the "but do you need it?" type of question. Of course I don't need it, think of it as "supermarket sweep" with your own money! Anyway since I'm parachuting in the latest aquisition behind enemy lines to Matthew's office, and as long as Alan can invoice me for "building materials", we're all good. Whoever said "honesty is the best policy" has clearly never had a stupid and/or expensive hobby
Alex Leigh
Oh and I'd love to come to the Cumbria fly in except a) It really is a long, long way from here and b) That weekend is my daughter's 10th birthday. Even I can see how inappropriate that would be!
