Tony.How are the motor wires. Do you have them running down the side of the motor? Theres not a lot of room and maybe the wires are touching the spinning motor.  On my FC I have the motor wires running out the front and then back through the air scoop.

Hi Kelvin. That is a great mod on the cowl, looks a 100 X better. Your 109 looks good too I have had all three of the Ripmax models and loved flying them all. Alas due to dumb thumb moments they no longer grace the skies. One of these days I will have all three back in the hangar

Posted by Nigel Hunter on 01/09/2010 16:29:31:.   I always feel that people start to lose the argument when they use silly names such as ‘Spektrauma’, ‘Micro$oft’, etc. I can't comment specifically about either the ESC / BEC in the Wot-E or the above user complaint because I've no personal experience of them but one thing for sure is that sophisticated electronic systems such as Spektrum receivers cannot be expected to work without a reliable power supply, no matter what they’re installed in. Obviously another 2.4 user who blames everything except their ''sophisticated'' Spektrauma receivers.   

Not as nice as the Spit to fly, but still a good flyer. You have to keep your speed up she is not as forgiving as the spit.I got mine secondhand and motor was already fitted. I did look at a new one and the mount was totally different to the spit which I found odd. Instead of a box it had two rails, kind of difficult to describe. This was a couple of years ago, so maybe the design has changed.

You also need to take crashed models back and replace them or refund them they are not fit for purpose.   FLY SAFE!!!  Sounds like you should be taking up this issue with Spektrauma, not Ripmax.

I used the Reflex XTR sim for a few years and thought it was brilliant.

Nice pics Stephen, especially like the 3rd. Shame about the mishaps, hope the damage is not too bad.
