Sanding with a mask is okay, but the biggest problem I find is that the dust, being so light, stays in suspension for days. It continues to settle out on every surface, and any activity sends it up into the air again. The answer would appear to do all sanding outdoors, but my model building usually takes place in the winter months leaving the summer free to fly ( or crash) them.

I've been there. Lock down, everywhere closed. "Balsa| Balsa! My kingdom for a sheet of 1/16.". I took to sanding down a sheet of 3/32. It doesn't take long, just rather dusty!

My sentiments exactly Erfolg. Bring back the nomographs and slide rules, I say. (Reliability is paramount). Joking apart, I have 3 pcs which all run different systems. The oldest has Windows XP which has never been on the internet since Mr. Gates decided not to support it any longer. This machine carries all my CAD and not much else.
