Because I can't find anywhere else to ask questions of the developers / moderators?.

Sorry I maybe didn't explain that very well. 1) Do a search to bring up a list of items found. 2) Then select an item off the search list. 3) Scroll through and read the posts in that selected item. 4) Then return to the search list displayed in 1) You go back to the top of the search list NOT to the item you selected in 2) hence you have to scroll through all the items you have ignored previously. When there are a number of items you select from the list 1) its a real pain to have to scroll through ignored items time and time again.

When I so a search and select an item off the search list on trying to return to the search list, at the item I selected, I get returned to the FIRST item in the list. So scrolling through items I have already ignored seems to be a bit of a pain in the but. How do I fix this please?. ?

So much for a seamless IT change over. What happened to a tested backout if problems proved too great. Must have been designed and implimented by a member of the government I.T. team. Rubbish

How do I get the search to work???. If I search Flair Kite I get every topis with Flair in the heading???.

1) can we please get rid of the adverts?. I know they pay for the site but I really am getting fed up of seeing stuff i will never buy. 2) Can we get rid of all the white space, very bad for old eyes. 3) There is a long standing philosophy in I.T. development. Evolution not revolution.

If you do a search within the forums. Why does the return to the top of the list when you exit an item so you have to scroll through all the items you have already ignored?.

Not sure if im logged in or not so i will try and post a reply to see. After being in the IT business for over 30 years I would have sacked any of my managers who put this system live. What happened to testing and fall back to the original system if major problems were encountered. Also what happened to user sign off on the format, organisation and effectiveness of the proposed new system ???

I have tried to add a post commending Brians style and brilliant human musings of the topic of engines. I'm not sure what, if anything I said, that caused the post to be either removed or not added to the discussion on this wonderful member of our modeling fraternity. If i did offend then no such intentions were meant.

Assuming there are any?. If they take upto a year to organise surly they are being planned now for 2022?.

I have a 40" PSS Hawker Hunter that has an all moving tailplane. The linkage is the same as the Phoenix and the Sigma above. It flies perfectly with no special bits just a bog standard control line bellcrank.

The last time I bought film from HK the cost of postage and import tax was £10 MORE than the cost of the 2 rolls of film.

Thanks Frank, I have ordered the red from Hobbyking and the blue is now on my Christmas list. HK reckon that the red will launch 3 kg so lets see. I have a BOT which I bought for pocket money off E-Bay and was given 2 more vintage gliders for free. One is 2 meters and the other is 2.5 mtrs, both have polyhedral wings and look fantastic. Cant wait to get them in the air. Hopefully this time next week.

Silicon tubing seems to be very expensive. As a new comer to Hi-start I have been trying to find information on various sorts / types of "rubber" to use. On one sire it said that the cheaper bungee cord provided and explosive start but soon ran out of steam. Has anybody used this product, if so to what effect?. I was thinking of 2 x 10 meter lengths of 8 mm bungee, attached in parallel, to 100 meters of 45 kg mono filament line. This I think will launch gliders up to about 2.5 kg. Any comments welcome.

I recently had a conversation with Paul Heckle regarding the engine for a Flair Kite. He recons that most people over power them and recommended that an OS 48 FS is more than enough power for a learner. He should know ???

I am trying to find some ROUND servo covers for an original X-Models Whisper. So far no luck. Does anybody have some in the bits box please. Help.
