Does anyone remember the joining code. I have selected my team and drivers and then clicked the wrong button and removed myself from the league, which also removed all the posts for the league and so had to do a search to find us all again. it will be a bit long winded going through all the posts again. john

I have several Volontex models with 3 position gyros but I find the opposite to Paul. OK in first two gyro modes but put the Tx switch in the off position and it becomes a real handful to fly, just breathing on the stick move the model violently. Cant adjust the movement on the control horns as easily as a "normal" model. John

I would imagine there would be slots at the hinges to allow the aileron to move upwards. John

Leccyflier. I have to admit a few years ago at our indoor flying night I did the classic of holding the model and throwing the Tx. Luckily it was a cheapy one but still worked afterwards. not used much since. john

You can add the plastic card. It comes up after the member renewal. Only problem I had with that was last year a couple of members who renewed themselves wanted the club to do the card which caused a few problems when they shouild have done it themselves. John

We are lucky at the moment. Have had a limit of 100 adults for a few years and a waiting list. Seven on the waiting list at the moment and three not renewing and one death opening a few places. Like most clubs there are a hardcore of regular fliers and "part timers" John

Leclerc , Bottas, Ricciardo Williams, Mclaren, Ferrarri No changes. Two missed / lost predictions affecting results. Started well and slowly went downhill john

Interesting in the sport section of the Mail today. Verstappen won the race, Hamilton unfortunately didn't finish. Including the article headline Max got his name mentioned four time Lewis thirteen. Are the Mail biased or am I? John

For the second time this season I did my predictions and then either didn't save them or Fantasygp had a glitch as they were logged as not entered in the results. Must take more care next time. At least two predictions right so would have had a better score than 71. getting lower in the league but may just stay off bottom. John

Thanks Frank and Extra. It will be in a 450 sized heli with a 6s/2200 Mah battery so I hope power will not be a problem. John

Thanks Keith. I will hav to reread the paperwork for the Optima. I have a few RX so plenty of SPC connectors. Just means an extra battery in confined space. John

another week thinking I had done well. Checking the Fantasygp site none of my prediction were recorded. I 'm sure I saved them, I definitely did them Ho Hum. John

I will soon be collecting a new model fitted with digital servos. I currently use Hitec Flash 8 Tx which is compatible with digital according to the write up, and Optima 6/7 channel Rx's. Are these Rx's suitable for digital servos. The Maxima Rx is digital only so do I need to upgrade to a Maxima? Thanks for any advice, John

Used HP for many years now and haven't had any problems. My latest is solid aluminium not plastic so you do get what you pay for. Had to update drivers as you do anyway. Speedy service for toners and inks and not too expensive relatively. Only down side they are putting dating chips in toners and inks but never had one stop on me yet, I do a fair bit of printing though. John

words fail me. I often think that was good and end up with rubbish scores and today I gave up as most of my predictions went out of the window and I end up top. the safety cars didn't help.luckily I appear to have done well on bonus points. there is hope yet. Still close for top four players - keep it up. John

I know there have been a lot of posts about HK since they closed the UK depot. Today I received an email for a sale including a Twin (King Star). Reduced by £111 to £261 and a further shipping reduction of £74 bring the price to £187. Not bad I thought and the checked the shipping cost - £519 from Hong Kong cheapest. Is this business suicide by HK or is the Chinese government having a hand in things? John
